2. Admission Requirements
This programme is directed at students with the entry qualification of Middle / High School equivalent and would like to precede their tertiary education however their English ability is not sufficient. Students enrolled in an undergraduate degree program that requires remedial English language development can also take this course.
Students are assessed upon admission and placement of students at each level will depend on the results of the placement test.
3. Graduation Requirements
Successful completion of this course will depend on fulfilling the minimum attendance requirements and the results of a system of continuous assessment and a final examination.
All modules will be assessed by both written examination and coursework by ASB＊s academic staff and appointed local lecturers registered with the Ministry of Education, Singapore (Private Schools Section).
Assignments and examinations will have equal weightings in the final mark awarded to the candidates in all modules.
To pass a module, candidates must pass each element of the assessment (course work, examination and Practical Project).

Examinations
Examinations must follow the pattern specified by ASB for each module. They will be either open or closed book. The staff of ASB will assess the examination papers.
Coursework
Students should obtain not less than 65% before they can move on from one level to the next; (E 每 100 to E 每 200 to E 每 300). Should they fail to qualify for the next level, the student must repeat of the level concerned. (Fees have to be paid for this additional term.) Payment applies. A student can only repeat each level twice. In the event the student is unable to pass even after the second attempt, he/she will have to withdraw from the course.
The assessed coursework for modules must consist of those elements specified in the contents. Each element must be awarded marks according to the framework given. The final coursework mark will be the sum of each individual coursework element with the weightings applied. A final report has to be submitted for assessment.
Certification
Asia School of Business will issue the Certificate only after the student completes all the 3 levels, i.e. with marks not less than 65% at each level.
On successful completion of the modules and meeting the course assessment requirements, students are eligible to receive a Certificate in English Language Proficiency from ASB.
4. Duration of Course
6 months
Weekly Instruction Hours:
Full-time: 20 hours per week, total management study is 6 months
