2. Admission Requirements
Potential candidates who obtained a tertiary level or bachelor’s degree are qualified to submit an application for this diploma and take the proficiency test in English. International applicants should attain a certificate, diploma or some formal study at tertiary level in any field related to the programme with a GCE ‘A’ level or equivalent. All students must be at least 21 years of age at the time of application and physically fit to pursue the study. And at least five years of significant management work experience with a proven record of achievement at work.


3. Graduation Requirements
All modules will be assessed by both written examination and coursework by ASB’s academic staff and appointed local lecturers registered with the Ministry of Education, Singapore (Private Schools Section).

Assignments and examinations will have equal weightings in the final mark awarded to the candidates in all modules.

To pass a module, candidates must pass each element of the assessment (course work, examination and Practical Project).

Grading

Examinations
Examinations must follow the pattern specified by ASB for each module. They will be either open or closed book. The staff of ASB will assess the examination papers.

Coursework
The assessed coursework for modules must consist of those elements specified in the contents. Each element must be awarded marks according to the framework given. The final coursework mark will be the sum of each individual coursework element with the weightings applied. A final report has to be submitted for assessment.

Certification
On successful completion of the modules and meeting the course assessment requirements, students are eligible to receive a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from ASB.

4. Duration of Course
12 months
Weekly Instruction Hours:
       Full-time: 20 hours per week, total management
       study is 12 months
